Return policy

We want you to love your purchase, and we are here to assist if you have any concerns following receipt of your product.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Return policy for select In Stock products

Select products purchased from IDist may be returned subject to pre-approval. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, notify IDist within five (5) business days of receipt to the shipping address provided at the time of purchase, and we will work with you to coordinate your return for a refund, credit or exchange.

The following conditions apply:

**​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Please note we do not accept returns on any handmade furniture, COM or custom fabrication.

Returns must be authorized by IDist.  Returns must be handled in accordance with IDist's shipping instructions and include a Sales Order Return Number, which will be provided by your IDist Customer Service Associate, when coordinating your return. Merchandise returns without written approval by IDist will not be accepted and will be returned to the shipper at the customer’s expense.

Unless there is an issue with product quality or in-transit freight damage, returns are subject to the following fees: restocking fee of 25% of the net value, applicable handling and packaging fees, storage fees, repair fees and return shipping costs. Outbound shipping or other fees are non-refundable.

No returns will be accepted on a product that has been installed, altered, damaged, cut, treated or processed.  All discontinued items are final sale; no price adjustments on discontinued items. Learn more about inspecting your textile upon delivery.  For select in stock items, returns must be received within 10 days from receipt at the ship-to address. Any product received after 10 days, or in a condition other than brand new, will not be accepted.

Return policy for upholstery

No returns will be accepted on any upholstered furniture.  No returns will be accepted on a product that has been installed, altered, damaged, cut, treated or processed. In the unlikely event that you need to file a claim following receipt of your delivery, notify IDist within two (2) business days of installation.

Return policy for Custom and Made-to-Order products

No returns will be accepted on Custom and Made-to-Order products. All deposits on Custom and Made-to-Order products are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that you need to file a claim, notify IDist within five (5) business days of receipt to the shipping address provided at the time of purchase. No returns will be accepted on a product that has been installed, altered, damaged, cut, treated or processed. No returns will be accepted on wallcovering overages, so please be sure to order the correct amount.

Return policy for floor samples

Floor samples, along with any items purchased by appointment at IDist warehouse in Brooklyn, NY, are considered final-sale items and cannot be returned.

Textiles and finishes are not guaranteed against color fading from sun exposure or atmospheric conditions. Additionally, textiles are not guaranteed against shrinkage or wear. Please refer to our Terms of Use for full warranty information.
